So good luck with fighting the...

Re: July 2008 Forum Drawing - ATI Radeon HD 4850 Graphics Card

Agent Neo, a very muscular male who is loaded from head to toe with ammunition and a large variety of weapons. His brute strength and ability to carry so much represents the powerhouse of ATI's cards. His strength obviously demonstrating the power of the GPU's and the large capacity of ammunition de...

Re: Figure Out Who Made Your Power Supply - List Your Model!

Easy, Dell made it. They are very notorious for making the PSU for literally exactly the amount of power needed, and as a result my PSU is a whopping 305 Watts! Yeah... dell doesn't really make models... they make the PSU for the PC and do it to the point that you might have to buy a new PSU just to...

When would 8GB be necessary...

A year or two ago I asked (in a different forum) when 4GB would be necessary... now its just standard! (For gaming that is...). So I would like to know when would 8GB be worth having, as in when would 8GB of Ram be used at one time... The easy solution is obviously multi-tasking, but I would like to...

When is AMD going to come around and be back on top?

I am just wondering if anyone knows when or estimatingly could possibly know when AMD/ATI will be back on top as the better of either Video Card making or Processor making... Something could probably easily help them with the video card industry is that they could get their drivers done quicker and ...

Re: Budget Laptop

Well my mom is going to be buying a laptop, she will only be using it for work so no high end stuff, with a pretty small budget of 300-400USD. I don't really have much experience in the laptop department so if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. At 300-400 you...

Re: Buying A Preconfigured System...Thoughts

Tell your wife that buying a pre-configured system while easier to troubleshoot really isn't a good solution because of all the crap that comes preloaded onto the computer that it basically takes out a good chunk of performance right from the start (and once it is in there it never leaves!).

Re: keyboard cleaning

Ok, popping off the keys could work. I honestly like to take a Q-Tip and just swipe that in between the keys (can't get deep down but will get rid of a lot of dust).
