Don't buy the Ultra just because it's 2nd hand.I would say a 3870X2 which is beating even Ultras & with more mature drivers it'll improve even more.

I would say 2GB Crucial Ballistix modules.They are the cheapest D9 memories available & are of great quality as always.

If you are upgrading, invest in a DDR2 rig then.DDR2 is also very cheap now.It's the right time to upgrage i think.

I would say, Q6600 with a P35 mobo.Yeah, a quadcore is pricey but the era of multicore is coming very soon if not already.So, it's better to future proof your PC.45nm based Quadcores are quite pricey though.
