Well, I ran all of the spyware and anti-virus programs. The usual load of tracking cookies. I downloaded IE 7 and did a reinstall. That fixed it. Who would have thought? Anyway, thanks for your help. It's nice to know there is a place to go for help when all else has failed.

Re: Thunderbird link problem
Thanks for your reply. Went to the Tabbed browsing settings. Set it to open links from other programs in a new window. Same settings as my other computer that works fine. It seems like it's about to open the link you want and then wham! It goes to what ever the home page is set to be. Like being re-...

Thunderbird link problem
I am using Thunderbird for e-mail and Internet Explorer 7 for web browsing. When I receive a web link via e-mail and click on it the page that comes up in Explorer is always what I have as my home page. If I change the "Home Page" address or set it to "blank", that is where the e...

Re: D975XBX2 PS/2 "Keyboard Not Detected"
I have only killed the power to the PS once and the KB was not recognized. I should have explained that a cold boot was (by my definition) with power still supplied to the MB.
A USB KB should be here tomorrow. Hopefully all will be back to normal after that plug in.

Re: D975XBX2 PS/2 "Keyboard Not Detected"
Thanks for the reply. I am going for the new keyboard. The one thing that bugs me though is why? I had a XION power supply till it burnt out. That prompted the PS change and here we are. I dislike not knowing the reason for things. All I can figure is the PC P&C fires up the 5 volt supply just a...

Re: D975XBX2 PS/2 "Keyboard Not Detected"
I recently changed my power supply to a PC power and cooling 750. My microsoft ergonomic keyboard would no longer work on a cold boot. Upon re-booting it picked it up just fine. I am using a D975XBX2 MB. If I plug the KB into my old AMD/Asus system it picks it up fine on a cold boot. If I plug the o...
