Re: what flashlight do you use?

It has a Cree 7090 XP-E LED that never has to be replaced. 6-AA batteries said to last 72-hours. I'm using RayOVac rechargeables last me over 300-hours of u...

New York has something similar. It's not easy to do on line shopping in these restrictive taxing states.

Re: What antivirus program is the best for a computer?

Tried Norton for the free trial. It is very RAM hungry and bloated for the space on the HD. Tried Mcafee for a year. It was better than Norton. In time it became bloatware on the HD space too. AVG has been running now on the computers in the house for two years now. It has stopped a bunch of stuff t...

Re: Here's why property taxes are soaring...

Makes sense why the taxes just keep rising. Maybe I should look for a governmental job or local governmental paid job with a union backing when I get out of college.

Re: AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 6-Core Processor Performance Revi

The Turbo of 3.0Ghz to 3.5Ghz sure beats the processors of the early decade that actually throttled down.

The turbo is a very nice addition to this X6 offering.

Re: Building a rig for my sister

If she's donin more with video and photo editin make sure that her software works in Win7. Else get a good WinXP Pro for her.

Great to hear about upping the memory. All of the editing sure can take up a bunch.
