Need help choosing a motherboard
Hi guys, I haven't been on this forum for a while. I'm still doing my homework to see which motherboard would be good enough for me in terms of reliability, overclocking potential, SLI capability, etc. I been highly considering nForce 700 series boards such as 780i, 750i FTW. However, they have a ma...

Re: Need help choosing CPU and Motherboard for decent gaming rig
I think I made a decision on which processor/CPU to get, the winner is Intel Core 2 Duo E8400. Ta-ta! lol. As for the motherboard, I think I will stick with NVIDIA boards, clearly 780i. Preferably, EVGA nforce 780i or XFX nforce 780i. Oh, yea Resnik, can you give me some insights on your EVGA nforce...

Well, my case is one of the cheap ones from cooler master, but it has a superior airflow, it has two 120mm fan, so it's good enough for cooling I guess. I got the model n...

Re: Need help choosing CPU and Motherboard for decent gaming rig
Hey guys, thanks for the inputs, I really really appreciate it. ^^ So, sticking with E8400 is better than Q6600 huh? I'll look more into that and make up my mind later. Oh, by the way, some of you asked me if I'm running this in 24' or 30' monitor or what not, well I haven't really bought whole lot ...

Need help choosing CPU and Motherboard for decent gaming rig
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and I just signed up today. I'm trying to build my first computer and I been doing research on motherboards and CPU's for 4 months now. I'm trying to build a computer for not-so-hardcore gaming, but sufficient enough to play all the current games and high-end games. So,...
