Re: Sandisk Extreme SSD Dilemma

Hmm well I was already planning to get a 240gb and then partition it for my OS and my games respectively only. Then the thought of why not get 2 separate drives instead of a partition kicked in, and then the spec difference came about as well. So yeah that was it. :? Im unsure if two separate SSD dr...

1TB WD GREEN slowing my pc down?

Hey guys, i believe my PC is running on good specs, im using the i5 2500k with 4gb of ram but i still feel my pc is slower/laggy when i open programs. Re: MSI 6950 Twin Frozr II or Ref 6950 unlocked?

Hmm from what i've read, the non ref models like the twin frozr II has been laser-cut so it cannot be unlocked anymore. Alright thanks for ur input!
im also thinking of sticking to the ones that can be unlocked, just wondering how far apart the performance will be

MSI 6950 Twin Frozr II or Ref 6950 unlocked?

Hi guys, i was about to purchase the MSI twin frozr version of the 6950 when i found out it could no longer be unlocked. I'd like to know if the performance of the twin frozr is better than a ref 6950 that was unlocked to a 6970? Which is a better choice to buy?

Thanks

Re: Corsair HX620 Watt Enough?

i have a new question for this PSU, i've been reading and it seems that the hx620 can really handle some serious wattage. So just to be on the sure side, if i hooked up one 4870x2 i should have no problems with the hx620 right?

Re: HD4850 with 22'monitor question

yeah im using a xfire board, but my other pci-e slot runs at 4x only. Does it make a big difference in performance when xfired? i was thinking of getting either 4850x2 or 4870x2 cos it only uses one slot, time to save up! Also, if the games are very demanding i can still run on res 1680x1050 with be...

Re: Corsair HX620 Watt Enough?

Ouh i din't know that.. I thought the sensors would be accurate whatsoever the situation may be.The 45nm chips are supposedly less hotter than the 65nm right, considering the size? Well thanks for the enlightenment Dan. I'll prolly reseat the CPU later at the same time fit in the Corsair, just bought...
