Inside the laptop there is a connection from the laptop monitor to the motherboard. It might be loose.

you have to change ownership of the folder to the current user then change permissions of the current user to full control.

DVD editing
I have some music video DVDs that I want to remix. I don't want to loose any quality and I want to be able to make my own music video DVDs by taking music videos from multiple DVDs and creating my own. What is the best software to do this?

I have dealt with bent processor pins in the past. luckily I was able to bend them back and everything worked fine.

Most of the newer motherboards allow the onboard and pciexpress graphic card to be enabled at the same time.
But if you are not using it I recommend disabling it in the bios to free up some ram and avoid conflicts.

If you are on the performance tab of the task manager and see 2 windows for cpu then your computer is using both cores.

Something that is starting up in windows at the point is causing this.
boot into safe mode by pressing f8 during boot up.
once in safe mode run msconfig and go to the startup tab and disable everything then reboot.

Sounds like you have to investigate why it has become slow. 1. Failing Hard drives and or full hard drives 2. Not enough ram 3. To many programs running at the same time. (bring up your task manager and find out how many processes are running.) 4. Windows rot ( time to reinstall windows to fix this ...
