Re: Catalyst Control Center wont start
Yeah thanks, I didn't know 10.2 was out. But I presumed updates stopped being useful for the 4850's a while ago. The reason I removed 10.1 in the first place was because I wanted to see if there was better gpu usage when playing STALKER SOC, because I remember playing it ages ago on the same card an...

Catalyst Control Center wont start
Hi, I tried uninstalling 10.1 and putting on 8.4 to test gpu usage with stalker SOC. I couldn't get the 8.4 to run. so I uninstalled that and re-installed 10.1 there were no errors. CCC and MOM are loaded in active processes but the control center will start in tools tray, restarting runtime has no ...

Hi,
A lot of times when I select a google search link it will automatically be redirected through 'businesssite.net'. So I have to go back a page or two and re-select the link and eventually it will go through ok.
What is this? How can I stop this from happening, is this adware?

Re: giga-byte GA-945GCM-S2L mobo
I went for the 'Thermaltake CL-P0114 Big Typhoon' . I also got some 'Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Compound' . Also, my case is a tower so the mobo will be vertical meaning that there will be a strain from gravity which there would not be if the mobo was horizontal. Is the H-clip...

Re: giga-byte GA-945GCM-S2L mobo
Wow, it's not exactly simple to fit this monster. Has anyone ever fitted this kind of thing? There are 2 metal h-clip frames. One goes underneath the mobo. there is an insulator, which is plastic and is shaped exactly like the metal h-clip. One side of this is sticky which sticks to the metal h-clip...

Re: giga-byte GA-945GCM-S2L mobo
Really? All the customer reviews said it was quiet.ibleet wrote:I have an Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro. It is an awesome cooler, but it's very large and it's not exactly quiet either.
So in percentage terms: how much quieter is it than the standard P4 3.2 cooler? Please tell me at leaSt 50%

Re: giga-byte GA-945GCM-S2L mobo
Well anyway, I've decided on Arctic Cooling Freezer pro.
I am also going to get some decent thermal paste: Arctic Silver V Compound.
But there are 2 types, one is conductive and one is non-conductive. What does this actually mean? Which one is better?

my case is about 200mm in width.

HI,
I have one of thes motherboards, running a p4 3.2ht processor, but I being driven crazy by the preposterously LOUD sound of the stock cooler.
Can anyone recommend a quiet and cheap (less than £20) cooler that will fit this board?
Help appreciated.
