I hope it is permanent for you! What a nightmare to fix an issue that shouldn't even exist!
it is a nightmare. it took few shutdowns and restarts and the problem came back, although it seems less severe than before. i wish i could just intall windows 7.

Re: heavy stuttering when downloading.

I have also heard and read that the newer chips can be a nightmare to get running on windows 7. Wipe everything, reinstall windows 10 (always install open-shell for the start menu) and then try first thing to do what stuttered on your original install and see if it does it. If not, then it was some...

Re: heavy stuttering when downloading.

As I always says, use cmd in admin and type sfc /scannow and see if that finds and fixes the error causing this :) ''Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. F...

Re: heavy stuttering when downloading.

thanks for the reply. i use zonealarm, that has firewall, antivirus and antispyware. i did shut it off as you suggested but it made no difference. the stutter during a download is heavy. freezing the mouse for 3-5 seconds, can't do anything while i download and the download is also slower than what ...

i'm posting this here because i think it's windows 10 doing it but might be mistaken. every time i download anything, even by clicking on pages, i get heavy stuttering in games or just browsing. i found a page where they have a solution to the problem but unfortunately it only lasts until i restart ...

i would of switch to AMD. screw intel's overpriced crap and their stingy return policies. i think they deserve to be abandoned by all customers for their dirty practices in the past years.

switch off your wi-fi

i've found this video from an expert, who speaks about the dangers of wi-fi radiation. it has polish subtitles but the man speaks english. you owe it to yourself and your loved ones to listen what he has to say.

Re: Cloning an m.2 PCiE to another m.2

Update: I just found out there is no way to do this. Apple changed the pin structure on their m.2's, so that other brands can't be used. Their m.2's are also overpriced, you have a choice taken away from you and this is not all! I was told by the sales guy that there are no m.2 nvme external enclosu...

Re: Cloning an m.2 PCiE to another m.2

Thanks for the reply but I'mvisiting my sis in NY and her laptop has only one m.2 slot and she has no external drives. I found an external casing for an m.2 at micro center for $15.99 and a 1TB m.2 PCiE nvme SSD on sale for $99 (down from $299) and she is happy to get those, so I can fix her problem...
