How to set up my hard drive and optical drives?

I've just built my own PC from scratch for the first time. It has 1 SATA hard drive, 1 DVD-ROM (Pioneer 120-RD) and 1 DVD/RW (PioneerDVR-109). How do I set these up (the cables, jumpers, etc I mean)?

Thanks a lot for your help.

I need some help with choosing a video card. I would like it to be PCI-Express. I won't be using it for games, but I will be watching DVDs. Thanks for any recommendations!

Can you decipher these pin assignment instructions?

Image

These instructions came with my case (I'm a first-time PC builder), but I don't understand it. What do the numbers on the right mean?... Thanks for any help!

What type of hard drive for Asus P5GD2?

I'm building my own PC for the first time. I've just bought a used Asus P5GD2 Premium mobo (as reviewed here: http://www.legitreviews.com/article.php?aid=162&pid=4), but I'm not sure what kind of hard drive to buy (I'll be using eBay). Thanks for any help!
