Re: dual boot

when you use the m.2 slot it will disable 2 of the sata ports. need to check your mobo manual for which sata ports it disables.

Re: dual boot

if I'm not mistaken, at boot you should be given the option of booting from either drive and then let your GF know that shes needs to select sata ssd and not nvme/pcie ssd at boot and she will have her own system the way she likes it :)

Re: Win7/8 free upgrade to Win10

thankfully everything I had on my windows 7 pc was compatible with my windows upgrade. so no issues there. but I have to agree some things did seem out of place and had to slightly re-acquire parts of my brain to get windows 10 working similar to windows 7. however not to criticize mircosoft, they d...

Re: OLOy????

Possible to be repurposing old ddr4 stick and selling them on with their own heatsink design? Seems to be owned by chipset technology holding limited and many have had no issues with them. Also OLOy is yolo backwards has many have pointed out :)

I can confirm that kaspersky has caused issue on windows 7 causing bsod. using the removal tool Knightrid linked helped fix the issue. However never had this issue with windows 10.

Re: RTX 2070 VRAM Problem!

Yeah turns out the voltage on my 12v rail was dropping below 11.1v and causing my gpu to fail as it hit 5gb or if my gpu hit more than 70% load. So I removed the cablemod psu extensions and vdroop instantly went up to 11.7v under full gpu load. I contacted scan and they refunded me after providing v...

Re: VCCPLL Voltage

exactly what I found. unfortunately no ones has given any reason as to whether this is true or not so have kept it at default 1.2v as xmp drops this to 1.15v
