So I cant just use a cable with a svideo on one end and a vga on the other. s video on tv and vga to monitor? I have to have a converter box?

Yes I am going to run both at the same time as multiple tvs. I was told I could use a s video to vga adapter and it would run the computer screen but not sure. I was also told to use a hdmi to vga cable and this would work. I am just not sure. I guess what my main question is will a tv work as an ou...

I am trying to connect my pc monitor with no hard drive just the monitor to my tv in another room. I have an hdmi port on the tv as well as a rca jack but dont have hi def hooked up. Can it be done?
