Maybe I could get it working by sending the window of the movie to the TV. That worked on my previous Nvidia 7600GS card. I used a shortcut to send the window of the application to the TV and another shortcut to get back on the Samsung monitor. Any way to implement this in my current setup?

Thanks for the reply. I switched to clone mode, made sure I had selected VRM9 renderless mode in MPC, and yes, the video appeared on the TV! But unfortunately, the resolution on the TV is now 1024*768 while my TV is capable of displaying full hd. Uninstalling en re-installing video codecs had no eff...
