Re: CyberPower Gamer Ultra 2098 Budget Gaming PC Review

Heck of a lot better deal than major builders. I.E. HP, Dell, etc. I should use these guys the next time someone says they want a gaming computer. Save me some time/headache! Here is a tidbit, that board only supports SATA II (probably why that windows score was so low). Yet they gave it a SATA III ...

Re: AMD APU vs GeForce GTX 550 Ti AMP

The 550TI is ahead of the APU, but not by a huge margin. We are also using an I5 2500k in these tests which isn't really a budget CPU. HAWX has the 550 ahead by 20ish % 550TI http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1688/8/ A8-3850 http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1649/14/ Stalker has the 500 ahead by...

Re: Netflix or Hulu Plus?

Honestly, Netflix and Hulu Plus have a similar movie selection. Neither has anything super exciting. I had Plus for 3 months and I cancelled it. I still have Netflix though. Go to Hulu Plus's Movie/TV selection and look at it for yourself. Most everything still has commercials. Its much less than re...

Re: Qwest Fiber Optic?

Qwest (Centurylink) fiber is basically the same as Verizon fiber. I.E. the same tech that verizon has for use in areas that verizon has no major network. I'm not sure if Centurylink had their own thing though. It's a dedicated connection so no bandwidth fluctuation as with cable. IF it is available ...

Re: Video Card

What are your system specs? I only ask as with a 3ish year old video card you might waste your money by running into some other bottleneck. Just need CPU and mobo model. Assuming you have the PCI-E version of the card there are a few options but not many. The most powerful card you can get without h...

Re: Steam nears $500 million in 1st Half Revenues of 2011

Is that Counter-Strike, or Counter-Strike Source? My guess is Source, as I haven't seen ol' 1.6 on the top seller list for quite a while.

Re: NZXT Classic Series H2 Silent PC Case Review

As always a great review! One ?, the last pic of pg 6 "Inside the H2 Continued" it shows the 2 fan connectors, at the front. That bottom one looks like the cable is a little tight. Assuming that we don't screw around and swing crap around while building. Did you notice it may be too tight ...

Re: WTF?

Hey, if none of us had a "funding problem" why would we even be having a discussion about holding 73rd place? We would be passing 50th place with ease. We fold with what we can! I might look for a good CPU/GPU upgrade if we can swing it. Might even just go with a PSU/GPU since my board is ...

Re: Super Bowl XLV IS MOST-WATCHED PROGRAM IN TV HISTORY

I'd still say that MASH's 106 million in 1983 (before I was even born) is far more impressive. Especially since it has held the record for almost 28 years.

Fold on! :drinkers: :supz: :partyman: Pulling the beer card to instill enthusiasm, nice. I have beer in hand and I am folding away (slowly but surely s...

Re: The time for 3D is here and now

I wouldn't mind the extra cost of a 3d film if the glasses they give you at the theater weren't an insulting 25 cent turd that they demand you return at the end of the movie. I have never purchased or used a pair high end 3d glasses. But I have seen a 3d film at Disneyland as a comparison. Their 2 d...
