I D/L and installed, but had use the built-in Windows option to roll back to previous drivers. After installing 9.9, the resolution changed to a size that I couldn't access any of the controls at the bottom of the window, and so I was stuck.

Ah, okay. Thanks! I wasn't sure since I've heard of others having overheating issues with these cards in tandom.

Hi, I'm running two Sapphire 4870 X2 cards in Crossfire mode. It appears that the temperature runs between 50 degrees C, and 79 degrees C. According to the meter, this is all within the 'yellow'. Just to follow up. I D/L the new Bios and new Audio drivers and installed them. No hitches and the audio works perfectly now.

BTW, I used the 'Express' Bios installation, and it worked flawlessly.

Just make sure the 4870X2 has the three 12v lines going in (like I suggested in my other post) and I really think you'll be alright. Dan Can you clarify what you mean by "three 12v lines" going in? You mean on the card(s) themselves? I bought two 4870 X2's. Each has two power connectors. ...

If I read the BIOS version correctly in my computer, there is a newer version, as well as newer drivers. It will have to wait until later today, but D/L'ing and installing those will be my next step.
