Asus RT-AC66R, Tomato, and AiCloud

Should I go with Tomato? Is the ability to increase watts on the transmission worth it? I'm trying to get it to the building net door, as soon as I step out the door, I get signal. I just bought better antennas, so will be using those too.

Can I use AiCloud and Tomato at the same time?

ATI Crossfire and an Nvidia Physx card?

I'm helping to build a gaming computer with a friend. They'd like to get 2 7970's and then put a Physx card in there. Is this possible? If so, what card do you recommend for Physx?

Re: Recommend me a Netbook/Laptop

Oh, I don't mind it the resolution is bigger, I just want it to play 1080p videos. My Asus 1000HE can't play that resolution of video and it sucks.

Recommend me a Netbook/Laptop

I need a laptop or a netbook (or Ultrabook). I need it to have 4-5 hours of battery. It must play 1080p and if possible I'd like to some basic games. Nothing serious like Deus Ex:HR, but stuff like Torchlight, Memoir 44 and Galactic Empires II. It must have BT and a webcam for Skype since I'm in the...

Eyefinity setup issues

I have 3 Asus VE248 monitors. I have a HIS 6950 and a Sapphire 6950 Flex (primary card) in Crossfire. I have one monitor hooked up to my HDMI port, one monitor hooked up to the Mini-Display port with this converter cable, and one cable to my DVI port (though I also have this cable that I can use). T...

Re: Gold Bars in Fort Knox are Fake?

In fact, here is what I would recommend: Start nice and easy: www.garynorth.com/public/images/Honest%20Money.pdf It's free, but he wrote it in 86 and then updated it in the mid-2000's. It looks like a prophecy now. Then when you are done with that, especially the intro to Mises' theory of money, rea...

Re: Gold Bars in Fort Knox are Fake?

Most Austrians don't believe Knox has any gold left or at least accept it is very possible it no longer is there. I don't doubt that it's gone. There is a reason that the government has refused to let even Congressman Paul see the stocks. But there is a huge reserve in NYC at the Fed. That is a fact...

Ouch. They should put the rail up a foot or so higher. Looks a bit low. Isn't the standard like 48 inches according to OSHA?

How to change a 1000he fan?

Does anyone have a link to a video or pictures of how to replace an ASUS 1000he fan? I found instructions, but am unsure of them being accurate or just general. The reason being is that I have found out that the instructions are used for other models of netbooks. Thanks. http://www.laptopcpufan.com/...

Re: MB CPU recommendations

Thanks for the tips. You cleared up the AMD tech for me quite well. Also does anyone have an links to articles about Intel and their CPUs and MB options?

The HSF is a NH-U12P.

I can wait a week or two, but I need to get a computer for doing some work.

Thanks,

Re: MB CPU recommendations

Hmmmmm....That kinda sucks. I'm curious, what socket is standard for Intel? I have a great LGA1366 HSF. If I can save on the fan, I'd probably be able to go to $400-450. Does my options improve there?

I'm also missing the link on Newegg for the MB/CPU combos, or don't they do that anymore?

MB CPU recommendations

I'm looking to spend about $300-350 for a CPU MB combination. My new GPU decided to light up with a blue flame and took my MB with it, well at least my SATA ports. I can get it to boot, but no matter the drives or such the SATA comes up an error. So can anyone recommend me a CPU/MB I should look for...
