Anyone seen bwall around lately

Been trying to get in touch with him with emails, etc and nothing. Looked on here at last activity and it states "Wed May 13, 2009 8:46 am". Just wondering if he is okay or if anyone knew anything about why he ghosted out.

So you are saying this was inside the intel pre-packaged box? Or you are saying newegg dropped it in your packaging box? Either way i like it because it is orange though.

Re: ASUS Rampage II Extreme X58 Motherboard Review

Just buy the EVGA Classified and be done with it. As i highly doubt anything new will drop out from asus quickly. Plus if you get EVGA and they happen to drop a new board out in a month you can choose to upgrade also and the lifetime warranty is great.

Only one i know of as for now that does 16x -16x - 16x is the new EVGA Classified E759 limited edition with the NF200 chipset on it. But they may be a few more as i haven't looked for it in a while.

Re: ASUS Rampage II Extreme X58 Motherboard Review

Yes but you don't get the full 16x with all three slots though. Then you think about flag ship once again. So 1 card you get 16x 2 cards you get 16x - 16x 3 cards you get 16x - 8x - 8x So basically you aren't getting full 16x all the way across on a flag ship board. But i suppose the thrid would be ...

Re: How much longer do you think the socket 775 will stay around

Socket 775 is still good, but there will be nothing else made in that series. But now you can pick up some used 775 stuff cheap when someone jumps on the i7 wagon. So it will help you also.

Re: ASUS Rampage II Extreme X58 Motherboard Review

Not to mention it is a software driven card and not hardware driven. The card is fair to be a extra included item but for the price it should have been hardware and no crappy creative registration should have to be done when the board came from asus. I can't stand to have to mess with another compan...

Any reason why you just can't stick the original disk in and try them? What are you using for the image mount? Is it virtual clone or perhaps daemon.

Re: Corsair Cooling Ice T30 TEC Memory Cooler Pictures

I for one don't really see a need for this. As most of the time a simple fan will yield great results. And with todays big heatsinks that come on them getting super hot isn't a issue now. Same as corsairs dominator fans, the ram never gets really hot enough for the memory cooler to even be used. But...

Re: Grid racing frame rate issues.

I assume you have the latest patch installed. And if you are running a intel then this will cause issues.
* "C1E Instruction" support (Enhanced halt state)
* "SpeedStep (TM)" support
Disable these and report back.
