Well my computer sure know's how to scare the cr*p outta me! lol. I did it last night. Had a bit of trouble getting the fan off at first. gvblake22 mentioned further up the thread that I should be ok getting the processor and just having the 2 x 256 sticks that i already have so i wasnt going to get any extra RAM yet anyway. But thanks for letting me know that that one is not ok for my computer if i happened to get it in the future. :)
