Folding accross racks. How? Possible?

I'm going to be coming into some older p4 based servers (i.e. single core HT, dual socket/processor machines).
Is there an easy way to boot these as a single system/OS and run a single F@H instance across them?

Thanks,

Trace

Re: Back to folding for the good guys!

Sorry I haven't been active. My client stopped pulling any units at all and I haven't had time to work on it. (Been fighting HP for 5 months, but that's a story for another thread/day/month) I just checked in here and to my surprise found that it appears bigadv is being ended? Would this explain my ...

If you're going to be overclocking, it's easier to stabilize with one stick per channel. That's all. Otherwise, go for it man!

Why 16GB RAM? Are you really going to use ALL of that?

Re: Back to folding for the good guys!

Woo! Now to decide if building a dual socket system is worth it. I might have a way to get a deal on some server chips from my friend's dad who works at Intel selling them, so time will tell :)

Back to folding for the good guys!

I quit my job with the company I used to write for and no longer have to fold for them! I came back here, because the folding environment is just so great!

Right now I have my 980x folding 24x7 at 4.0GHz!

Memory Speed Effect on -bigadv

Does anyone know how much memory speed comes into play with bigadv WU?
I have my CPU OC but my RAM way underspec right now because I'm too lazy to bother quickening it up. Just how much is this affecting my bigadv folding?
4009Mhz is about 32:34 a frame. Input?

Thanks,
Trace
