Sequential speeds look OK for this drive, it is a bit slow there compared to competition. But 4K write speed should be significantly better. I suppose you bought it used?

Re: hi
Welcome!
This setup should prove to be pretty straightforward. As for power supply, 450-500W combined power should be enough. Even one with four 12V rails might do just fine, although two would be more stable. And if you don't know your model you can look specifications on the power supply itself.

Yes, but that is a Zosma, and all 955s are Denebs as far as I know, and Denebs physically have only 4 cores.

I suggest you make him run at least one benchmark and get back to you. That way you will now what exactly that particular example is capable of and also help with bargaining.

Well, you can buy one 8GB kit now and, if you feel the need for more, buy second one later.

With higher running temperature and shorter warranty, this looks more like a prototype than a working product. Would be interesting to know how it holds up.

Actually, I did have one freeze after I installed latest nVidia drivers. If you also have the latest drivers, try rolling back to the previous version, not sure which one it was- it was rock solid for me.

Re: More Freezing Up :(
Maybe run a test on your hard drives. Then memory.
Upgrading your video card will probably improve performance, but I would start with a newer processor+motherboard+memory. That should be a better investment if you can afford. Throw in an SSD and you got a stew going.

Re: Need Help - Stuck and Frustrated
Enabling AHCI in BIOS should corrupt the OS loading and last time I tried it it gave me an error message, but video worked OK. So I can't see how this can be the problem. I just rolled back to IDE, loaded Windows and messed with registry a bit, then I could enable AHCI and everything has been fine e...

It is presumed you already have a good A75 motherboard, why would you need a second one.

Think of buying one, but since I plan to move to AM3+ socket I have slight worries about compatibility. As far as I understand there shouldn't be any problems since sockets are similar, should there?
