Oh I've got the skills, just not the concern. My case is completely solid--no view inside most of the time. So as long as airflow is adequate and nothing is shorting out, I figure why worry?

Know what I really enjoyed about that first video link? Look at the bookshelves behind the guy. It looks "bulked out" with duplicates.

It's possible that you could see some issues if you have an exotic storage setup, but if you're just using a regular hard drive without any fanciness the stock settings should be fine.
