Re: And they say video games has no effect on people..

completely ridiculous if they claim that violent video games caused this. It's simply a case of someone overreacting about something. It happens all the time so if it just managed to be ticked off by an xbox then it should have no bearing. That's bad journalism. Same as someone being fed up with the...

Re: Networking Problems

from my limited knowledge dealing with routers, I believe dmb2000 is correct. I was entertaining the thought of using two routers for a while, mainly one handling wired and then hooking up to a wireless router that would act as an access point. I believe I determined that you would need dhcp on the ...

Let's see, I've definitely forgotten to put the bolt back in after draining lol.

I've never drank that much while changing though, a few brews at most.

Re: Buying A Preconfigured System...Thoughts

Do you have something against dell because while their tech support is bottom of the barrel you can get some amazing deals on them with coupons and such.

I'd scour slick deals and fatwallet and keep an eye open for coupons.

i'm currently paying 35 a month for att dsl rated at 6mpbs/768kbps.

Pretty good speeds, download through torrents at around 600+kbps on a good seed.

Only other option is charter, 3mb package is something like 45 bucks.

Looks like EVGA is backlashing a little hard. If you notice the article on Inquirer tech news it looks like EVGA has sued XFX for the dog. Seems a little over the top to me....but what do I know about corporate life.

That's why I'm leery of such big scale contests, because it's so easy to sweep under the rug because they are out of touch.

There it is!

Are there any other fabs going 45 nm?

Hasn't AMD already converted their fab to 45 or are they still working on it?

Yeah, caught it on my car forum haha. Pretty amazing I must say.
The crazy thing is that there is virtually no road noise or wind noise, while most other cars would be screaming.

It's just canned off NFS2 and nothing notable enough for me to purchase or even download.

I'm really just psyched about the new project gotham whenever it comes out.

I still have yet to play forza 2 for 360, although I hear it's amazing.

Do you have fast boot enabled or any hard drive checking options checked?

It sounds like it's hanging a little bit. A beefier PSU might help, as long as you don't skimp on it.

Dropping the overclock or loosening up your timings might help.

Yeah, I'm a little leery of this, I'd like to see some close up pictures to make sure that it isn't runny or drippy or anything, because I think the paint would pool up at the bottom end of the part, and that's no good for anything that will be visible.
