Re: Patriot Viper Xtreme Division 2 2400MHz Memory Kit Givew

I guess we should just stop giving stuff away then. I think we're just saying you need to figure out a better way. You're not the first to figure out Facebook is a machine to drive web (bot) traffic, but in the real world disliking something is just as valid a viewpoint as liking something. Quite a...

Re: A YouTube Video Worth Watching

I was sure the ending would be someone wiping out and killing themselves on the skateboard the kid inexplicably left on the sidewalk. Karma - I don't think it means what you think it means. EDIT: Another improved ending: Cg7BwXXiyEY Could we re-shoot the ending so that the owner of the purse is a du...

Haven't noticed any changes, my Skype credits have been lying dormant since discovering Google for long distance calls. (Free North America calls through 2012.)

Under "Security":

http://ninite.com/

Avast, AVG, Microsoft Essentials, plus some excellent ad-spy-malware removers. Consider that link a "best of freeware", and the installer is amazing.

Welcome to the forums. I found this review. I like the fact they are using some levity with their writing also. Hope this helps. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Thermal-Compound-Roundup-December-2011/1445 My guess is that there's really no difference in the higher-end TIMs. A few degrees dif...

Knowing it's a monitor I kinda winced when he tosses it. You have to figure all courriers have the same disregard, but FedEx ain't looking too good lately, especially for computer goods. :finga:

I think at this point Noctua knows too. Their colours are part of their style, it says "we're all performance!" Nobody else makes beige fans, and they're willing to bet nobody ever will!

Not to dwell on this much longer, but I'm pretty impressed with a company that looks ahead and supports customers who are with them. This is what Cooler Master sent me free of charge a year after buying this case: http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/1786/2xusb30.jpg http://img853.imageshack.us/img853...

Re: Interesting Thoughts on the Occupy Wall Street protester

Sorry about that! I think I lost my right to give financial advice after losing big chunks of my retirement to corporations whose only focus seems to be obliterating any wealth. Even small investors are trying things like buying a million-dollar car, insuring it for two million and driving it into a...

Re: Interesting Thoughts on the Occupy Wall Street protester

I know people on the right in the U.S. shudder at the notion of nationalization, so I won't go that far, but a good start to protesting Wall Street in practical terms would be finding a way to buy back the Federal Reserve System from the banks. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-11-28/secret-fed-loa...

Re: Interesting Thoughts on the Occupy Wall Street protester

Gotta agree with what bubba is saying about credit cards, all those people who end up paying twice for things because they borrowed the money to buy them deserve to be poor. Even borrowing on a house is pretty stupid unless you got a good price and put enough down to have an equity cushion to occupy...
