Well, I got it sorted. The video card was running in PCI mode. My previous card, a gf4mx 440 ran in PCI mode too, but it actually worked fine for some reason. I've formatted the hd. reinstalled xp.

All drivers are up to date.

Apart from this the card runs fine. Bloody annoying.

Well, strangly the processor cut out about 2 minutes after installation of card. But that doesnt seem to be a problem anymore. Like I said, I can't play videos, dvd, on the net anything with out my processor maxing out and stalling the pc.. Do you have to install plugins or codecs or something every...
