Windows 7 and DELL 720 inkjet printer

I am using Windows 7, downloaded and installed the DELL printer drivers and the computer will not comunicate with printer.
Is anybody else having this problem? Anybody know of a fix? Thank you.

Sounds like a great laptop! Almost a gaming machine, except for the graphics. The Athlon II is fairly new and at 2.7GHz Dual Core, it will be able to handle pretty much anything non-gaming. They are the same but with Pro you can do network backups, join a domain, apply group policy controls, it has file encryption built in, and Pro has XP mode. What is the difference between Windows 7 Home Premium and Professional whether it be 32 bit or 64 bit.
I am looking at getting two new computers with Windows 7 on them. I want to be able to see the HD from one computer from the other and all the sub-directories.
