Re: QNAP NMP-1000 Network Media Player Review
Now that is what I call a thoughtful product! If tthe LEDs were rainbow it just might be perfect. LEDs off is just fine with me.
Good job QNAP!
Thanks for the update.
Does the NMP connect to my ReadNAS? (Just kidding QNAP. ( sorta ( kinda ) ) ) ;-)

Re: QNAP NMP-1000 Network Media Player Review
Except for the blue LEDs this one looks like a winner. Once again, time for the soldering iron to "Get rid of the MF blue LED!". (think it it as if Samuel L. Jackson were saying it) Unlike the Patriot Box Office, the QNAP NMP has a remote. Gotta love that feature. The QNAP NMP Looks like a...

Re: OCZ Vertex LE (Limited Edition) 100GB SSD Review
"Notice that this drive doesn't need a jumper for firmware flashing." Yeah the ole jumper requirement and the "gotta" loose your data to upgrade the firmware required has generally pissed me off about the SSD devolution. Anyone remember how hard drive upgrade used to require a ju...

Re: NZXT Unveils Line of Premium Cables and Performance Fans
As someone who has built four systems in the last few months using NZXT Beta Evo chassis I am looking forward to learning the specs on the fans. So Far all my cases has used the high CFM Cooler master fans. Hopefully the new NZXT fan are unlit, or at least have a switch for turning off any LEDs. I'm...

just an observation...it seems Vectrexer stopped folding completely as soon as the contest ended..Hmmm Not really, I am just off helping out someone else right now by folding under their name. Kind of nice lending a hand even if it's not for Team LR at this particular moment. Come back and smack me...

How about a personalized email address from the LR domain?
Chris at legitreviews dot com might be a nice thing to have. Of course the winner would have to abide good taste and TOS to keep the address after it was won.

Re: Ideas for next F@H war.
It will never be 100% fair.... 1) No one is ever honest on what they will run, can buy or borrow for or during the event 2) the sponsors usually want a 2 week contest and a one month contest is pushing it, so doing a long term contest for say 6 months would be had to get backers for. Were the folks...

Re: Ideas for next F@H war.
Would also like to see more on this subject of fairness and/or a logical equalization. One thing I had considered is basing a contest on folding efficiency. Point's per core / day. But then we have some people like me folding BigAdv that have a big skew. I'd like to find some way to counteract the b...

I could have sworn I was donating to kylepaddock for the last two days. And myself.
I see Team LR broke the 1M mark yesterday. (http://www.xcpus.com/folding/FoldingTea ... 296&page=1) 1,020,069. Now that is impressive!

Don't fret guys, the remaining CPUs will be given away in a way that will be fair to everyone, so there's no need for (yet more) QQ  Dan Oh come on! You are taking my debating fun away! Is that fair? ;-) Feel free to debate away, but know that it'll most likely not change how we allocate the r...

Almost anything is fair game, from adding rigs, to overclocks, whatever you want. If you get someone else to fold, and its not under your name, post it, so we can keep them on the standby list in case someone quits, breaks down or something like that. If the OP is going to decide to award entries b...

Re: ** Official 2009 F@H WAR Competition Thread **
It may be viewed 'unfair' if contributor's are given entries based on points - given the obvious financial restraints (nice video card(s), electricity costs) and/or resources involved (getting a friend(s) with nice hardware to contribute and/or workplace resources). Given the nature of the rules of...
