Re: Official Anti-Spyware Thread
I just had a computer repair (infestation) to clean up and the only thing that would fix it was Spyware Terminator. I had never heard of it untill i used it but stone me it worked. The infestation was a combination (yes im not kidding) of virtumonde variants (yes multiple, on the same machine) and a...

Re: XFX 850W Black Edition Power Supply Review
As good as this psu is, I just cant justify paying twice as much as another psu. So I just got a 850w from newegg for 99 bucks with free shipping.

Dual core 1.66GHz at 13w tdp, nice!
I love those die pictures. They're just so interesting to look at. I often marvel over the complexity for a few minutes when I see a new one.

Re: Adobe Flash 10.1 Ushers In GPU Accelerated Flash!
gief downlowd linq plz :D just kiddin. Yeah it has been a long time coming. I've found actually that the performance problems with youtubes HD has been more about a steady connection speed rather than computer performance. Specially htpc's (which generally play movies/hd movies anyways) Netbooks how...

Those temps seem pretty darn warm to me! I'm not so confident this thing can handle a phenom 2 x4 at 145w ?
So perhaps the statement 'todays hottest 130W quad-core processors' should be adjusted a tad..

Linux Server Management Preference ?
I'm just curious about peoples preference for server management software.
Personally I've used eBox and Webmin recently and like both, although eBox has issues with package compatibility and updates n stuff.
What do you guys think ? prefer something like Amahi or have another alternative you love ?..

Re: Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ HD Media Player Review
For the up sides (the silent operation and wifi) the extra 29 sovs is not a bad increase in price given the benefits. However my big down side (in my opinion) is the dumb proprietary HDD dock which requires you to buy (more cost) their portable drives which are (logical) size limited. Such a shame. ...

Yey, Lurkers unite! Quite an evolution there stopthekilling77. Skier: I've dug out my drive once already today and i'll do it again when the snow stops. Went into town in the snow today to Chinese and helped some poor Massachusetts driver up the hill (got out and pushed the car up hill), for some re...

Re: laptop internet
If the laptop has wifi you could also get a cheap USB wifi stick and configure connection sharing through it on one of the existing PCs (windows i assume).
Though that doesn't leave room for expansion like the previous poster's switch/router option.
