I got mine about 2 months ago and I love it.

Some of the advanced features it has are

1. Picture in Picture from the different inputs

2. USB ports

It really is a nice screen

<shrug> personally I'm Italian which means if it falls offa truck I won't turn my nose up at it.

Conversely people who steal from other people have issues.

paradoxically people who are stupid enough to leave thier stuff laying around to be stolen are beanheads anyway

If you are planning to use this laptop for many years to come, I think I would have tried to get the Yonah Duo series instead of the Pentium M series of procs. The Yonah Duo would have given you some extra power with less power consumption and I thought Intel was making those to be 64-bit as well. ...

I only handle the 7800gtx I can get them for the same price as the 6800 so there is no real reason for me to get the 6800's I would suggest the following upgrades in the following order 1. Processor ( Pin Mod a 1.6 to a 2.26 and sell yours to break even) 2. Ram to minimum 1 gig 3. 7800 GTX 4. 7200RP...

you can both upgrade to either the 6800 Ultra or the 7800 GTX I may have a 6800U comming up forsale in the $175 range (might be cheaper) and I can get the 7800GTX's all day. Fact is I hvae resold about 10 of them so far and currently hvae one listed on Ebay, and a total of 4 sitting in boxes in my ...

it sounds like its getting hung up in a process. I have noticed for example that MSN Messenger takes 99% CPU usage occasionally when I start Outlook 2003.

as was suggested disable all startup processes and get rid of any resrouce hogs.

do yourself a favor and pick up a dell Inspirion 9300 you can pick it up right in your budget and can upgrade the graphics to either a 6800 Ultra or a 7800GTX at your own pace. also with this laptop you can drop in a Dothan 735 and it will pin mod right to 2.26 ghz without a real issue. and just for...

I would suggest that you go with the 3200+ Venice they have a much better OC success rate and speed than the 3000+ and you can get them just as reasonably say within $10 of what you have listed for the 3000

don't forget you have 21 days to give it back to dell, but that being said if you are interested in a 7800 gtx for it let me know I can get them pretty reasonably.

you have yourself one of the best laptops for the money and very upgradable.

actually if you can modify your order I do have a couple of suggestions. 1. Downgrade to the X300 64 meg and then buy the 7800 GTX from dell spare parts ( you can get them for $268 shipped) the X300 do not game well and franklyuse hyper memory which is some dedicated and some system shared 2. drop t...
