Go to safe mode. delete the spyware files then search and delete entry on Registry that loading the spyware.

Or try using spyware removal tools like Spyware Terminator or Adaware.

4200 (2.2GHz) have an odd multiplier, so your memory would run at DDR2-742. I think 4000 (2GHz) better than 4200. -200MHz but have a bigger cache (1Mb against 512Kb)

GetDataBack (http://www.runtime.org/gdb.htm) or EasyRecovery Pro (http://www.ontrack.com/easyrecoveryprofessional/) is a very good Data Recovery program. I've many good experience with these 2 programs.
