Re: NVIDIA Solves Multi-Monitor Temp Issue on GeForce GTX 480

Yeah, I was pretty surprised at reviews sites giving their recommendation to this card. When it first came out for reviews, the temps were just too hot. Great job testing it and calling the problems, which helps us, end-users/consumers.

Re: WD VelociRaptor 600GB SATA 6Gbps Hard Drive Review

If money wasn't an issue, I'd still go for the F200 Corsair SSDs built with their new Sandforce controllers, but yeah, definitely a good upgrade from 7200rpm hard drives with good capacity (without breaking bank).

"Writing this on an iPad...cool, but not $500 cool... :'(" = quote from my friend on twitter. What a waste of money like all brand named items (just DIY, ftw).

Does anyone know how cool this case is (temperature-wise). Is it better than the P182/183?

Re: GeForce GTX 480 Gets a BIOS Update and Cooks an Egg

Getting back to the article (and not flaming other people discussing about air flow in cases), gtx 480 is still too hot. Even if it doesn't hit those 96C temps any more, 86C isn't exactly great either. I'd still go with a Radeon this generation if I had the money. Is there anyone here where temps/po...

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 GF100 DX11 Video Card Review

Because performance over the 5870 seems to be 15-20% avs FPS and more importantly based on other reviews the Min FPS seems to be even better for the 480. Oh, and that muched hyped tessellation DX11 features that ATI boys used as their main weapon when they were the only ones with DX11 cards...well,...

Re: Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Toxic 1GB Video Card Review

...Mind you that the flickering is constant. The moment I uncheck the checkbox the flickering instantly STOPS and the Group Box titled 'Current Values' changes to GPU Clock: 400MHz and Memory Clock: 1125MHz. So it appears that the idle settings for the card being that of voltage and other stuff mig...

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 GF100 DX11 Video Card Review

Yeah, the GTX 480 is monstrous. If I had money lying around I would totally buy this. OMG. I was thinking why would anyone want to buy this because it's monstrous, power-hungry, and not exactly efficient in the "performance/watt". These reviews help me so much in deciding what to buy next...
