Re: NVIDIA GeForce 197.41 WHQL Drivers for GTX 400 Series Cards

Anyone know when they are planning on releasing their 3d-surround drivers? If they stick to schedule it would be a massive disappoint to wait potential month(s) for this feature.

That looks incredibly similar to the reference design, except green instead of black.

Re: XFX Will Not Offer GeForce 400 Series GPUs

I like it. Fermi is a joke and not practical for just about anyone except Epeen benchmarks. It did that but I doubt it has any kind of lifespan at the temps it runs at. Also isn't it a recession? The price to maintain is crazy. GG nvidia don't let the door hit you on the way out. :partyman: XFX wil...

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 GF100 DX11 Video Card Review

I think pretty much 480 by itself is ok, not great, but SLI480 is another story. Toward that end, will you guys be doing a surround (3x1) review? I think a lot of people would be interested in that.

Hey

Hey guys. After a few years not caring about hardware, I recently bought into the craze and will be doing gtx480 Sli. I look forward to checking out this site in the coming weeks/months about this hot new card! I'm mainly a PC gamer but I own quite a few PS3 games. I don't really overclock, but my c...

Re: GeForce GTX 480 gets dismantled in detailed pictures

Fermi is hot, but not by much. I think a lot of people are witch hunting in terms of "95C is too hot etc..."

If it is within the engineered specs I don't see why any gamer or enthusiast would be more knowledgeable about nVidia hardware life than their paid engineers.

Re: Triple SLI or 3-Way SLI GeForce GTX 480 Video Cards

Even if he ducts the air intakes, aren't the metal fins on top of the cards going to roast the backside of the next card over? I thought nVidia strongly suggested spacing these cards.
