Re: Seattle officer punches girl in face

I just watched the video, I can't blame the guy for hitting her it was a crazy situation. I think he is really lucky it didn't escalate to more.

Re: Great photo of the BP Oil spill...

What is sad is it seems like the media is moving away from the spill as people are becoming accepting. This is freaking a huge deal and pressure needs to keep on it until it is the flow is stopped and then for years more as the area tries to recover. It will be decades before that area is close to r...

This is a really great contest. I admit that I do not currently fold but I have been planning to build a new machine and turn the old one into a dedicated folding machine. I will not be able to do it in time for this contest but that is neither here nor there.

Great contest idea and great prizes.

I have heard that the Mini-Typhoon is a pretty good heat sink and not too loud. I will try to find the article I read and append it to the post.

I was very excited about the AM2 socket until I started reading about the Conroe performance. Even in its early stages it seems to be blowing away anything else out there. I think I am going to have to go back to the dark side of the chip market!

NVidia seems to be the winner right now in the mid range and I am feeling more comfortable with them at the high end as well. ATI was the bomb back when the 9800 was "the card" but since then NVidia has been kicking butt.

I was looking to AM2 for my next rig but after seeing the early Conroe performance I am all about intel. AM2 does not seem to be able to compete with Conroe at this time.

I do not think it is worth it yet. Not enough games support the card and the few that do don't seem to add enough extra to make the card worth it to me. A few extra poly's bouncing around for $300 plus additional tax on the CPU is just not valid to me yet.

I am having a hard time getting behind AM2 with Conroe on the way. So far the results make AM2 yesterdays top of the line and Conroe the new generation of computers.
