After rethinking about it :roll: , I'm pretty sure nVidia will have to go down with the price, especially with the recent release of the HD3870X2 which is being sold now for $449. So...As the HD3870X2 competes (more or less) with the 8800Ultra. Then, nVidia just can't sell they top-notch card (9800G...

I'm looking nowadays for a DVD that will supoprt also High Definition DivX/XVid Files like 720p/1080i/1080p AVI Files...If one really exists :roll: , as I couldn't find one. And the few that I found that support HD-DVD support onlu DVDs in High-Definition and NOT HD AVI Files... :(

Yep...my DVD Player is DivX/XVid enabled. :mrgreen:

I don't know how I could live without this support feature, as most of the movies I watch in it are DivX/XVid-based... :)

WOW!! That's really GREAT news. I would love to see their new game!!! :mrgreen: The graphics in their bechmarking programs (3DMark) are AWESOME so I'm pretty sure they won't let us down with their game. I'm currently using an LG x20 SATA DVD-RW. I personally think that almost all DVD Burners have the same quality, except Plextor, but they're way too expensive... :( So far I had very good experience with Lite-On as well, and regarding NEC, I had two NEC drives in the past and both of them died after...

I agree that you should go for a E8400 CPU. Regarding a Video Card, you should go with a 8800GT 512MB, as it'll give you the best bang-for-the-buck for the moment. Also, I would advice you not to compromise and go with 4GB (2x2GB) instead of 2GB of RAM, mainly if you plan on using Vista...or upgrade...
