yeah I knew about teh cycles, and yes all is well :D I also cleaned up my desktop and reaplied AC5 and now I have my 900 mhz overclock back :D it is very good. Need to practice more at lapping though, my lapped surfaces arnt all that great.

Yes it is messy which is why I use the Artic Clean to clean it up. Works amazing. I just apply it with my finger and smooten it out and clean my finger off with 90% alchohol. Thats actually a really good idea, ill just get a copper shim made up and lap both sides of it and apply a thin layer of AC5 to it. Awesome.

If you could get me the thickness of yours that would be great. I'll just get the machine shop at school to make me up one.
