Yeah for that budget you could basically get any of the gaming laptops at ABS.com Check them out. The most expensive one is almost 3Gs, but they have a good selection of other low cost laptops built for gaming. They also have a DIY section if you're looking to build one yourself.

ABSPC.com people. I dont know if you've seen any of my other comments on other topics, but ABS realy has a good selection of barebone notebooks. Have you heard of coboc.com? Dude, try abspc.com. No one seems to know about them, but i do becuase they recently merged with coboc.com which was as far as i know the biggest supplier of notebook chassis and parts.

I dont know if you're still looking for a chassis, but have you checked out abs.com? People seem to like that site when i recommend it to them for Notebook Chassis. They have a diy section and a pretty wide selection after merging with coboc.com.

After looking at the site, i think the ECS might be your best bet. Small, 4 lbs, cool looking. They even have a bundle for it.

From what i've heard (techy guys) all claim that AMD is THE processor for gaming Desktops and such, but for notebooks, they still say Intel is the one to go with.
