I'd agree - but i'd MUCH prefer a "right-click"-able button :? EDIT: Just checked the Apple.com page...looks like it DOES in fact offer 2-button functionality, just that the mouse is COMPLETELY solid-state. Tha's actually pretty slick...not sure if peeps can actually get used to the lack o...

well - for starters, i've heard that starforce is possibly the worst of any copy-protection available...which really sucks b/c that crap should be labelled on the outside of the box before you purchase the product...supposedly, some versions of starforce have been known to disable cd-burning softwar...

The other real rub (and this is what Stallman is getting at), is whether or not BIOS is stored in a chip or in some type of other rom or circuitry, he wants it to be open for anyone to tinker with if they so choose. Not changing settings for overclocking, drive priority, etc., but actually change th...

i read over at gamespot that valve had sent the final release candidate out to vivendi universal sometime over this past weekend - presumably on friday...this would most likely translate to mean, upon final approval, that HL2 would be good to go gold.... Half-Life 2 submitted to VU Valve officials c...
