Re: Man angry at Verizon hurls phones

WTF , the guy brought safety glasses with him to the store? Talking about pre-planning for saftey! Yeah, that will kinda damage his "uncontrollable rage" defense. I can't think of a much stupider way to handle that, now he'll be paying $2k+ to a company he (apparently) can't stand. :x He tho...

Each finds different things, so they work well together.
neither finds everything. Ad Aware sometimes reports spybot as spyware. I generally run spybot all the time and schedule Ad aware for daily or weekly runs.

Re: Spybot Search & Destroy 1.3 Released

I tried to do the automatic update of Spybot 1.2 and it said no updates available! So unless it's just my PC's you have to manually upgrade to 1.3. This program doesn't get all the spyware off, but it does get the vast majrity! Yup requires manual uninstall/reinstal, but it's still free :D Between ...

You have to learn to live within the legal structure as well.
Laws exist as an extension of the social structure, ie rules to protect the rights of the majority, from those that choose to abuse a totally open system, (generally for personal gain)

seems worth a try to reset to default speeds, but at that O/C it wouldn't suprise me if you cooked the northbridge.
what sort of cooling were you using on it?

Hopefully they'll be punished based on their actions, not just seen as poor confused kids.
It's unfortunate that they choose to hack, rather than apply their talents to something useful.

This version is for XP and W2k, but some of the special features only work with XP Media center version.
I'll give it a few days before I install, just in case :?

Hard drives will be around for a long time to come. but large flash drives are increasingly needed for mobile devices where the cost is less important than power consumption and durability (hard drives don't like being dropped)

Much of the US (especially the west) is really designed around cars, is the main form of transport.. Also due to different taxing methods, your fuel costs have always been much higher ...

GB is usually pretty close for all the major stations prices, but I drove by a no-name station (used to be a cheap 7-11 type store) yesterday with $2.43 for 87 octane (but nobody using the pumps that I saw) and it's only a couple miles from a safeway gas station at $2.19, so it depends what gets rep...

$2.03 aain't nothing, when I left N.Cali last October we were paying $2.39, when I got to Vegas we were paying $1.52, now it is $2.14 here. Our government really has no control, it is either OPEC or our own energy co. s screwing us, probably a combination of the two. yup , it would have to go down ...

True, but thus guy, (or group) aimed at their local school district computer, among others, seems like overkill to hide some bad grades. Had he applied him self to something useful he would have had a bright future. Instead he's the first one caught from the MS reward fund, and they will surely push...

dropping Tejas (which was running way too hot) and pushing ahead with multicores is a big step forward.

I've used one before and it's your basic entry level Socket A board for Athlon XP's. It will get the job done, but don't expect great gaming, or audio. Basic will be a big upgrade for him, his desktop is a pentium 200, and now that I convinced him to get cable, I could prove to him that his compute...
