Re: AMD FX-8350 8-Core Black Edition Processor Review

Yeah, 2GB on a laptop GPU is total overkill, as what i've seen recently from all these "MORE IS BETTER!" mentality people
Hell i can't even get DiRT3 on high and 4X AA to max out 1GB

Re: AMD Versus Intel Integrated Graphics w/ Ivy Bridge

And don't forget Intel skimps on pixel quality. If they had quality matching the AMD GPUs, i would be certain it will perform alot worse I read on somehwere that somebody said Intel will catch up with AMD in 3 years in GPU front and that is HIGHLY IMPOSSIBLE.(which i call bull****!) Why? AMD has don...

Quite good, though the Pi numbers got me thinking ... how does the FX-8350 do worse than a stars quad core 3GHz A8 at hyper PI?
Something's fishy

Re: AMD A8-5600K Trinity Desktop APU Review

Well, the comparison with the 3770k was a bad decision. It costs like 3x more of either processor Should have compared with the i3-3220 instead But yes! The power consumption was a shocker. I never knew AMD ever had a lead on power consumption regardless of the "box" ratings 3770K says "77W" Sure .....

I think i know who is the OEM for this Heatsink ... Deepcool, i bought them before i have the Iceedge Mini FS (80mm!) and it JUST fits in a Mini-ATX case, yes you can put a 92mm version of the Mini FS (Mini) But you will have to say goodbye to having a fan in the back. Right, if you can review the h...

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Video Card Review w/ MSI and E

1 problem though : It's a Nvidia. :| Though it looks good after they finally patched the hole plying the 7850 game  But looking at the BF3 benchmark i always remembered Nvidia cards always had a lead there so no surprises there. I have not been very impressed with the 78xx but i have been ...

Re: AMD A10-5800K Trinity Desktop APU Review

If you think the cooling solution is bad, let's look to intel! I got a PD E5700(Just for cheapness sake, this is just for a media PC) earlier this year and was wondering why my motherboard wouldn't boot beyond 220MHz base clock and i finally found my answer. A 5MHz base clock overclock shot the star...

Great review man , i have never seen such a review for some time ... It lacks one thing and that is the "iforgotwhatitscalledsyndrome" test used in the Llano vs Intel APU shootout or the Brazos vs something else

Re: Corsair SP2200 2.1 PC Speaker Review

Well , a amplifier can't produce more power then it draws , the power supply can only handle 42W at max . 42W is fine , just that they overrated it slightly . As for the chips you would be surprised it definitely contained individual TDA2030's and 1 TDA2050 . I have no gripes about this speaker , i ...

Re: Corsair SP2500 2.1 232W Audio Speaker Kit Review

Back then i was reading this article but it seems it have got lost on me . But whatever , the reason it can cost a 150$ difference between this and the SP2200 is that ... EDIT : OK , the tweeter shouldn't cost that much . And 3" 40W's are quite hard to find too ... Why can't they use a 4" instead .....

Granted it costs 83$ and is more expensive then a Antec Kuhler ,
it still does badly compared to the Noctua , i would not mind getting a Noctua instead .
If i do not use tall HS's for RAM's ... which i don't .

I find it weird , why would they use resistors to drop the value instead of banking a few dollars to use 5v voltage regulators ?

Yet another great review! Wow! This looks like a great product. Seem like it will utilize RAM much more efficiently too. Heck, I have a old Athlon 2.1 Ghz desktop I use for internet and can’t even watch a friggin YouTube video on it! This APU architecture is refreshing….for a change. I don't see wh...

Because a standard potentiometer won't be able to take "huge" power draws . The highest standard i ever know is 5W . And it's small . and that is usually 12v/0.7a , 8.4W . A rheostat / wire wound rheostat makes sense here but that would rake up production costs , anyway , that resistor , if it had t...
