http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/amibeep.htm

depending on which BIOS you have - on the right and left are links for POST or BIOS codes - see if you can find it there...might be an easy fix.

TGM - that site is REAL nice - can tell you about yours too hopefully!

check audio settings and turn 3D audio thingy off - I have some MB's that have that on them, and it screws up ALOT for me.

if you dont have that - then ignore this message and just FOLD - cause folding needs no audio to run ;)

didnt see any options to lock it in :(

I see some people got the 2400 to run like a 3000 on air cooling - now that would be worth it!

Thats what I get for getting crappy motherboards :)

Any ideas for the gigabyte?

Share what you want - a hacker is not interested in you, unless you host bank accounts, corporate emails, etc Maybe someone will hack you and print stuff out on your printer ;) I wouldnt share the main drives, just share individual folders, or just 1 folder... You can also use a VNC program to get t...

seems like your computer is not set to boot from the cd before the hard drive - you can enter BIOS and change this, but if you dont feel comfortable, I would not do it! If you are, then just change the boot sequence to have the cd-rom boot first, then when it scans the cds it should tell you to pres...

you wouldnt boot the old hard drive, you would put it in as a slave drive just to copy the data from it that you want to keep. you would then unhook it, put it back in the old computer, use your windows cds to reinstall and reformat the drive with a fresh copy. Then you can transfer all the data bac...

m If that works, get the data off of it that you need to keep, and do a complete format and re-install!!! I would NOT keep running it if you had this problem already - Windows screws up enough on its own, it doesnt need help Mike let me know if that worked for you - if not I can dig farther, or you ...

I vote red - it should shine through a bit better i would think. Multi-color I dont think looks good at all, but that is my opinion.

I did actually think of Velcro, but I would be afraid the heatsink would melt the backing zip ties would have nothing to hold on to. I think I am going to just grab some #4 screws that are 1 or 1-1/4 inches long, and that should do it. I will try the machine screws first and see if the tiny thread p...

There are no nuts, they just screw directly between fins on the heatsink....there are hold down plastic tab things to hold the heatsink on to the chip, but the fans are screwed direct into the heatsink - do threading or anything. Most of the one I have had are like this, but I never tried to use 20m...

Ok, well I got some nice 20mm chipset fans, but now I need to find screws. I have been searching locally, but the only thing that even comes close to looking like my small chipset fan screws ( 10mm ) are the sheet metal screws with the point on the end. I really dont want those! Would anyone be able...

Have not gone to a movie in YEARS - we save the money and just buy the dvd, it is about the same price.

I did want to walk out of one back when I was younger, but then they kicked the idiots out, so it was ok then :)

Hmm - only way I could use it is if I would win that motherboard contest, and then a cpu contest also..lol

How about - throw me in the hat, but if I win, sell it on ebay or anywhere and put that as a donation to the site from me - would that work?
