how hot can my chipset safely run?

Well I just noticed that my chipset fan has died :( my chipset temp is up at 69Celcius, about 159farenheit...is this safe? seems AWFUL high to me.

I am going to replace the fan, just have to find one locally first, or find a place that wont charge me $6 shipping for a $3 part :)

does the hard drive effect folding?

Was wondering if I put an OLD 5GB HD in a system to load windows on to get it folding, will it effect the folding application itself? http://www.maxtor.com/portal/site/Maxtor/menuitem.5d2b41d3cef51dfe29dd10a191346068/?channelpath=/en_us/Support/Product%20Support/Desktop%20Storage/DiamondMax%20Family...

Are you looking for JUST a tuner, or do you want to be able to record the shows also? Recording - Hauppauge - I have the PVR150 ( low end ) and it is at least 10000X better than the ATI All in Wonder I used to have! Just a tuner - almost any will do, just have to watch if you have sat or digital cab...

which linux has the cube windows?

Hi, I saw that article about one of the Linux Distros having the graphical environment that you can have your windows on a cube, or when you move the windows you can have them "wobble". I was wondering if anyone knew which Distro has this in it, if any. If not, does anyone know where to grab it to i...

my 2 cents I wont ever be overclocking unless I can gain at LEAST 1ghz from stock, so the heat spreader would probably be manditory ;) and all the memory at that range would have them anyway I believe. For stock, they are a waste. Take them off and charge me a couple bucks less. Mike Since i buy the...
