Re: HyperX Savage EXO SSD External Portable Drive Review

I never understood why companies do things like this.....release a product that is inferior at a higher price point in an established market. If they made it specifically for console gamers and marketed that way it would have been in a marketplace that might have commanded a higher price point as a ...

Re: What do you think

I like it. Still a few little things I notice like there is only 1 laptop with 1060 6gb and 15.6" and the little blurb in orange says - No significant advantage and some important drawbacks compared to the direct competition but there is no direct competition since it only pulled up 1 :) Would be ni...

Re: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 OC Video Card Review

RTX cards are amazing, there is no doubt but the are also super expensive. If PS5 or Xbox Two (whatever they call them) have 4k native at 60fps I think even more people will jump ship to the consoles as an entire console can be bought for cheaper than one of these video cards and you can even throw ...

Re: What do you think

Only thing I can see that I do not care for is how the FPS block needs to be clicked to open it up. It looks weird with the 0% for the one video card (it is the base so 0% is accurate) without having the FPS open.

That is just my opinion though :)

Your keyboard is really clean. I should throw mine in a dishwasher lol

Seems after a week of use it can look like I killed someone with it, wash it, another week and death is all over it again. Maybe I am just a dirty hippie :supz:

Maybe my keyboard is possessed by Chucky

Re: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 Benchmark Review

INSANE speeds but also INSANE prices lol I like that they are not good mining cards but with the pricing starting way up there, I doubt they would have been raised a whole lot anyway unless they could make their money back in a few months. I laugh whenever I see the power usage charts cause AMD has ...

Re: New system

Want me to send you one and then get you to send that back? that way you have no down time? As for thermal paste... I've pulled them out of the socket before, but it's been a long time. I've used 'lighter' thermal paste lately and put on a very thin amount. No pulling at all since i've done that. Y...

Re: New system

In fact the cpu pulling out of the socket may well be the issue. A friend of mine had an issue where he would change the paste fort better temps constantly and pull the cpu from the socket. Even though he did that and reseated it, it failed to boot and setting went all over the place. I fixed it by...

Re: New system

So it happened again with the windows update that came through. Computer locked up, power button would not shut it off and then it would not restart. I moved the cooler block around a bit (pushed in on it really) and then it booted up but the led is back to just red. I want to pull the water block o...

Re: Conversion bracket

That looks almost exactly like one that came with one of my water coolers. If it is the same it twists on and holds very tight.

Re: New system

Odd, send the board over to me and I'll take a look. I got a couple of those boards in the closet that are brand new, so I got you covered. (unless it's a bad CPU) It's been working now. I haven't played with oc or lighting since it started to act good though. I will keep testing it out and see how...

Well had to lower to 3.50 in order to get cpuz benchmark to complete but it beat the threadripper 1900x and was a few points shy of the 2700x!
