I'm really looking forward to this, hopefully by that time I'll graduate and have something other than a hole in my wallet. My friend has a Ferrari laptop, so if I get a Lamborghini one, it will be a hell of a lanparty.

The Mach II goes for ~$800......How can OCZ make something to compete with that? Even if they sell it for $400..... It must have a smaller compressor.....I doubt it will go as low as -40C I have a feeling it will work like a good peltier block, mayby down to -20C.... If we see the ECT Prometeia Mac...

That thing must weigh as much as my oil tank downstairs. Reminds me of that liquid nitrogen cooling I saw on nordichardware: http://www.nordichardware.com/Articles/?skrivelse=453

It really depends on the quality of the LCD. Some get dead pixels on day 1, others can last for years. I got my LCD slightly over a year ago, and already started noticing that there is a number of dead pixels. However, they don't bother me that much since they're only noticeable when the entire scre...

If that Desktop is made for gaming, then why do they use Pentium EE as opposed to an Athlon? Sure, the CPU doesn't matter as much as the graphics card, but they might as well go all the way if they're aiming for gaming.

With a budget of 2k, you should be able to get a laptop that plays all of the latest games whether you buy a pre-assembled one or use barebones. Although if it's a touchpad, they're more expensive.

Yeah, but once I list it I can't take it off, and I was kinda pressed for time to sell it. Next time I'll definatelly contact you, I sold my laptop, but paid $20 in fees to eBay, $20 to PayPal, and $20 to the post office. Nonetheless, I sold it for $60 more than I expected, so I didn't lose any mone...

Civ4 is a great game, but it eats up more resources than a billionaire's wife. This is one of the very few games where you will actually notice a significant difference between 1 gig and 2 gigs of RAM. My Desktop barely handles it, and I've already learned the hard way not to trade maps with opponen...

Thanks, I would agree to that but the only problem is that I thought that DragonCooler forgot about this thread and already listed the item on ebay myself: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6834433566&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 . Hopefully it sells for the...

I'm retarded

So after I used Sandra to find out that my laptop motherboard can handle 2.4 GHz CPU, and it only has 1.7 GHz one I decided to get rid of this extra slack by overclocking the CPU (I'm too cheap to buy another one). I have Intel 845 chipset, so the wire mod wouldn't work. I decided to adjust frequenc...

I converted my AVIs to MP4 using ImTOO (Just found it today). It's shareware, so it only converts the first 5 minutes, but all my music videos are less than that so I'm fine :) . If you have a lot of big movies to convert, you might even buy it, it's $29 and is well worth it since it also optimizes ...
