Contest was fun, I enjoyed it. I can't say the same for my room though...got kinda warm.

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight
And I yelled to the cabby yo, home smell you later
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To settle my throne as the prince of bel-air

I would like to be able to play some games on it, I know I won't get the kind of performance out of a laptop as I would a desktop machine. The machine will primarily be used for work (Workstation Imaging, Database Administration, etc...). It will also be my PC when I am at LAN Parties because my des...

Intel Core 2 Duo, P4 M, or Turion 64/X2

Been looking around for laptops lately and trying to get the best machine for the money.

Would you rather get an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6Ghz, or an AMD Turion64 at 2.0Ghz. Same with the P4 M. Thanks :)

I also have to agree with waiting until next summer when Intel releases their new processors to upgrade your rigs, that's what I'm waiting on.

Mine will last me until next year

P4 3.2GHz Dual Core 64-bit
2GB DDR2
ATI Radeon X850XT PE (Hopefully going to win the Vid Card by Folding).

One of my main rigs rebooted this morning due to those annoying Windows Updates. One of my other lower end Athlon machines locked up yesterday afternoon due to a processor overheat, got the problem fixed and it's back folding.

On a positive note, my 2 Ribos are 1% away from completition.

These projects are inspired by data collected in projects 2106 and 2107. They treat the electrostatics interactions in a more precise way. Points and deadlines: p2124 points 396, 110 days p2125 points 392, 109 days a ~400pt WU sould only take ~2-6 days on your rig, depending on how long you leave t...

I'll probably be able to keep most of my main rigs running it even after the contest is over. Wont be able to keep running all the corp servers for folding. It seems that most of my current WUs are Gromacs Core so it will be a bit before stats get updated for them all (im thinking somewhere around n...

P3s, P4s (some 64bit), and a couple of AMD 64s.
