I'd personally be afraid of its weight, especially installed in a tower machine. I guess better make sure you got the top motherboard screws in otherwise you'll end up snapping the board in two? Most of my personal machines from how much I'm constantly working on them, I only secure the board to the...

Heh. It's a toss up between that system and the Z-5500. The only real advantage I see with the 5500 is the fact that it has a 10" sub instead of the 6.5" with the 5450.

Plus I like the look of the 5450 a lot better.

Logitech Z-5450 Speaker System

Mfg. Link: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2177,CONTENTID=10928 Does anyone happen to own this particular speaker system? I'm in the market of trying to find something to replace my Logitech X-530 system with. The wireless transmission to the rear speakers is nice, but ...

Unreal LAN - February 17th

Just letting everyone know that February 17th, my brother and I will be hosting a LAN Party. We have room for 36 people, and prepayment for the event is only $15.00. Keep in mind since we're just a garage LAN, we're not focused on the big tournaments like most of your bigger LAN events are. We'll ha...

I installed Vista Ultimate on my laptop, and after a few hours of playing around with it, I'm currently reinstalling XP x64 back on to it. Vista just has way too much bloat for me, the navigation around the OS itself is horrid. When I set the machine to use the Windows Classic Skin/Theme, it should ...

SO if you can reactivate OEMs on the same computer after different hardware changes what is the point of getting a full retail version of an operating system? what are the advantages of each? I think we need someone to really just list them out and clean this thread up and maybe even get it stuck a...

I'll be upgrading within the next month or so.

I'm still a bit leery on upgrading or not. I don't want to just go spend the $200 on Vista Ultimate OEM and end up not liking the OS at all, just to go back to XP and be out $200.

I thought that you could do it default anyways? Last I heard instead of being asked for one CD Key, you were asked for two.

Guess that was changed recently.

Just keep in mind that even though you spent $200 for Vista Ultimate OEM, the OS is still illegal if it it wasn't purchased by a registered System Builder w/ Microsoft.

Just make sure you comply with the hardware purchase requirement. NewEgg suggests a Y-Power Adapter. Just stick it in the computer and technically you can use an OEM Version.
