Re: Dell Offers Services For Users To Transition to Windows 7

Anytime someone mentions to help with a transition, it's always going to be bad news in the long haul.

This means that Win-7 isn't that intuitive to figure out simply on your own.

Sounds like another Vista blunder coming our way.

XP still lives! :finga:

Re: Rosewill products

Got a Roswell internal 4-USB card for an old computer that had no USB functionality. The card works well. No complaints either. Windows XP loaded on this old Windows 95 machine and the USB made it functional once again.

Way to go! Every young girl needs a rifle to practice with. My daughter will need another three more years to reach that milestone. Thanks for the heads up and the PINK color coordination combination. I'll take note of it. The wife here just smiled at the photo. That must have been a great day for h...

 Part-2 The Liberals also go for the big college degrees that requires the least amount of work to obtain. I have met so many Liberals with an MBA lately that America will keep running this course of bail-outs and takes from the Conservatives. Yes, I can laugh at the sole truth to this, b...

Re: Laptop Sound is Choppy

Sound is typically handled through the south-bridge chipset. On my MSI Intel MOBO, the chipset required two things to overcome the choppy sound. First the latest drivers that worked and second a heat-sink with a little fan on it. Since your machine is a laptop, try getting the latest drivers. If tha...

Re: Sarah Palin - 'Told Ya So' Interview Tonight

There were to senators who want to give to the tax payers stock in the new GM. This way, the government would not own GM, but the people. Either way, it is unConstitutional the way the government is screwing the secured creditors. They have contractual rights to the company first, before anyone els...

My bank pays me interest on both checking and savings. No fees.

Then again, it's great to bank with a local company rather than a national one.

Re: free parental control software?

You can do it soooo simply through OpenDNS. Just setup your IP to pass through OpenDNS on the web. Then, you will never have to worry about loading it on computers, and having anyone try to go around it. Best of all if your WiFi is unsecured, big deal, it puts up the parental control wall to outside...

Now that is some exciting news. If paralyzed people from accidents can benefit from this to walk or have control movements of arms, legs, fingers and toes, their quality of life would greatly improve. Sure, this boarders on the BORG, but in the present day, the benefits to assist anyone who has beco...
