Re: Computex 2010 Show Floor Coverage - Day 0
Checking it out, and so far looks like everyone's rushing to finish things. Human nature will never change
Btw, error on first page. It says "On one of the main show floors we spotted one of Gigabyte's boots." You want booths.

So far, I've been slightly disappointed with the Core i7-875K after reading reviews from the usual hardware sites that I visit. I do like the price though.

Re: GPU3 Open Beta Released!
PPD seems have taken a slight hit with GPU3. Temperatures remain more or less the same though. Some users with a GTX are reporting that they don't have to hear their GPUs whine anymore with GPU3. Not sure if it's related or not, but the core and memory speeds seem to have become a bit more important...

Re: XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 Video Card Review
View this thread in our forums! on the last page redirects to the forums instead of this thread. On the closer look page, the GDDR5 are designed to run at 5Ghz effective since GDDR5 is quadpumped. Overall great review! The 5770 and 5750 crossfire is pretty interesting. Never knew you could crossfire...

Re: GPU3 Open Beta Released!
I don't see the download for windows 7 64 bit. Could you stream line the download info for me. Windows 7 download is the same as Vista. Just use the Vista console version. I'm using GPU3 atm and TPF is 02:37. According to my calculations, there's a slight drop in PPD. I'll let it run a couple WU th...

GPU3 Open Beta Released!
We have a new GPU core (core 15) going into an open beta test for NVIDIA clients. This core requires a new client (see below) as well as the latest drivers (197.45). This core is the first run of the GPU3 technology, derived from the OpenMM project at Stanford (http://simtk.org/home/openmm). You ca...

Just got this thought. Since Newegg sells OEM CPUs, there's a chance we'll see them on there.

260/250 folding when i can, funny thing just happened with the 240, the dell has a 305W PSU(have run my 250 off that unit before because it actually has a decent 12v rail) but when i put the 240 in, both the 240 and the CPU(vent) fan cranked up(the cpu fan sounded like a 120CFM Delta or something) ...
