The PS3 will have a speed of 2.18 teraflops, which by rule of thumb, equates to about the power of 50 PC's.
The graphics will make two 6800 Ultra's in SLI mode look slow.
Why not replace you're desktop with one of these running Linux? I'm first in the queue for one....

AMD Socket M2
I have heard rumours that AMD was considering a new socket for the near future, and now heres the pictures. http://www.pcpop.com/doc/0/86/86886.shtml The text is unreadable on my computer, but it does give a clear indication that AMD is looking at a new socket. There is a smaller socket next to the ...

Apoptosis, I have rearranged my Folding PC's as those with two instances are not running as they should (hence the number of PC's folding in the last 7 days has decreased). Therefore I will be removing an instance from the two PC's which are folding 24/7, and installing it on 3 more PC's, but they'l...

In the UK, what we define as being Reality TV, are TV shows (regardless of money being offered or not) that are based around peoples experience living. Whether that show be Pop Idol, Survivor, Big Brother, they are all classed the same. Now TV shows which show home makeovers are not classed as Reali...

April 15th brings tears to my eyes as in 1989, 96 fellow Liverpool Football Club supporters perished at a game of football.... This wasn't caused by a riot, a fire, a plane crash or some act of god. It was caused by the police filing supporters into a stand which already had twice as many people as ...

Here in the UK, we have over the last four years been in undated with Reality TV shows: Pop Idol (televised Karaoke), Big Brother, Fame Acedemym but to name a couple. I can honestly say that I have yet to see an episode of any Reality TV show, its not quite what I would consider as entertainment.......

Prince Harry failing a basic computer assessment does not surprise me for two reasons. 1. With his parentage, wealth and amount of holidays he gets, he has very little time for a computer. (Well I've never seen one on tropical beaches nor on the ski slopes.) 2. With his parentage and wealth, he prob...

Best gaming setup for around £500!! (Or $800 US dollars)
Here on our little island called England, I have been set a challenge, to build a decent gaming rig for approximately £500. It should be able to play wth decent graphics and FPS such titles as Halo2, Half Life 2, Doom3 etc. My thoughts start with a AMD 3100Sempron (E revision), DFI Nforce 3 250 moth...

Normally when you are soldering and the pad / track lifts, its a sign that you have either left the soldering iron on too long (too much heat transferred to the PCB) or the soldering iron is too powerful! I normally use a low wattage soldering iron for such. (Modding PS/PS2 is normally my game.) Whi...

Apoptosis, a gig of DDR1 would be very nice (I'll owe you a :drinkers: if you are ever in the UK), as I will be building myself a new gaming rig consisting of a 3100 Sempron E revision on a DFI motherboard (should overclock very well), together with a 6600GT 128MB graphics card. It will be my first ...

I currently have five PC's folding, four are 24/7, the fifth is a part timer. Would I qualify if I were to get four new accounts for these four 24/7 PC's and have 2 instances of folding per PC? (I did get Greyshade to join afterall!) I think I should win the 1GB for that suggestion alone! Back...
