and what programe are you using to watch your video ie: powerDVD or windvd or mediaplayer/center may thats the problem it may require you to set 5.1ch in its options

hmmm it could be that one of the sata data cables is a bit screwy i'd personally change em both and see if that make a difference if it's still taking a long time to boot then one of the drive may not be at all right in the head can you disconnect the affected drive and see if that makes any differe...

I have a 90 Watt PSU there's your problem you'll need to get a better psu ninty watts would be barely enough to run what was in there in the first place and now you wanna add an hd2400pro. regardless of slot type they all draw the same watts ie: pci agp or pci-e hd2400pro will draw the same amount ...

Nothing over a ati X1950xt or you'll find yourself to serverly CPU bound if it's still a socket A board if it's one of those gigabyte socket 939/agp8x boards you might be able to get away with an hd4670 or 4830 but that as much as i'd wanna go on agp8x otherwise your wasting you time and money

ahh sweeet best price ever FREEEEEEEE :) just make sure you put the slower stuff in the first slot tho as it may get hinky if you dont as it'll try running at the same speeds as the pc6400 ram

shoot a reasonable hd2600xt could do that, mine runs my LG 32" and my 22" lcd full noise no problems evan has nice smooth blueray playback (using MCP home theatre) i find power dvd to cumbersome and a drain on resources

try using either EVR (extended video resolution mode) or try VMR7 or 9 windowless mode see if that helps
