Re: OCZ RevoDrive 120GB PCI-Express SSD Review

Great write up Joe. I'll need to retest my set up but this appears to be similar in performance (and capacity) to a pair of 64GB Intel X-25E in RAID 0. At $700+ each for the Intel drives it's easy to see that the RevoDrive has excellent performance per dollar!

The Lian Li dancing Spider case!

This was pretty darn cool. Having never seen the spider case from Lian Li before Computex, I thought it was a very neat platform on it's own. When Lian Li showed this to some of their customers one of them stepped up with some actuators to make it move, and then to dance!\ http://www.youtube.com/wat...

I'm trying to get information on how to get my hands on one! I kept hinting around but no one stepped up to let me know where I could get it. ;) I'm sure they are available, just have to do a good search.

Re: E5520 VS X5570

I would definitely lean toward the X5570, we saw a 37% difference between the E5520 and X5570 using Cinebench. Depending on the price, you may even want to look into the hex core 5600 Xeon's. What is the asking price for a refurb system like that?
