Re: Who can help me--something about spy ware
Me thinks this is a spammer asking the question. /if you read it one way he sounds like he wants to be a person using spyware on others./ Just sayin

Re: Laptop Upgrade
After my mom got a Toshiba and fixing it at every whim for her I would never own that brand.
Sony is another one I would personally avoid because of the DRM issues. It would have built in root kits galore right from the factory.

That was one neat rating service legit had when I had just joined. It was like keeping a pulse on the market place and when a knee jerk happened everyone knew when to make the move on great deals.

Whoa who would have ever thought. Bet those ink cartridges cost way less than the major brands.
My lego collection might be large enough to put something together like this. I have a big collection since 5 years old.

Re: Toshiba?
My mom hates her's. Especially with Vista loaded. It has a mind of it's own. At first we thought it was just her. After using her machine for a week I can say it is a really buggy and sensitive laptop. I would never buy a Toshiba.

Re: Newegg and Customer Fooled - Fake CPU
Does he have to give the fake processor back? Did he run any benchmarks on it? That would be a curious thing to know.
Is there another posting of the performace of the fake?

Re: Windows 7 Student Pricing?
http://www.microsoft.com/student/en/us/software/windows-7.aspx It's about $64. You do not need to be a university or college student. highschool will work as well. I got mine that way. For highschool you will need one of these: Upload a digital scan of one of the following with your name on it: * St...

winXP for the ones running 512 ram or more. win98se for the rest under 256 ram.
My grandpa has a gateway amd 512 ram like the intel one with XP. It is fast booting with AVG on startup.
Ubuntu or xUbuntu for the 256 ram ones will work and run openoffice.

My first choice is Corsair. My fist laptop upgrade was Corsair from 1/2Gb to 2Gb. It worked flawlessly. I got a mircoXD card for my Virgin Mobile phone. It was Corsair again. This time, the card was quirky and then died. It would not even format. RMA'ed to Corsair and had the new microXD within a we...

I'll take a look into it. If the calculations are not using fetal protein stem cells in the research I may toss a machine to run it and try the application out. The earlier a team gets on board the better as it will remain at the top of the rankings.
